Can you Trust Your Brother From the Same Mother?
When Is a Shirt Defective? (C 2025) By Hank Brooks
I have gotten older (age 83 at this writing), I have put on a few pounds. I even mentioned to my younger brother Mike, that I had bent over to pick something up and had a hand time getting up. So good naturally he gifted me with a shirt which says across the front, “Help I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up”. I told our son Jeff about the shirt and he said that I have been given a defective shirt. “How so?” I ask. He said that the sign requesting help was only on the front of the shirt. If I fell and landed on my stomach, people could not read the sign. Therefore, the shirt sign does not meet OSHA standards. So I went back to Mike and asked for my money back (it was a gift). He replied by saying that I could have back all the money I had invested in it. He then told me that he could easily fix the OSHA defect. He took a wide strip of “duct tape” and wrote, “If found, please roll over.’ He then instructed that I put this on the back of the shirt.
